How do I get started?
Warrior PST is an easy to learn and easy to teach program for improving personal safety. It is very relevant to the education of children and adults in today’s society and can be adapted by boys and girls clubs, martial arts training programs, dance and gymnastics programs and as core curriculum in public, charter and private schools systems. The program is based on a framework of awareness and avoidance, recognizing danger and finding safe zones in any situation. Personal protection skills are developed as a final resort to violent action on the part of an assailant.
Warrior PST curriculum and training materials are communicated to you by Internet email and document delivery, DVD training programs, live Instructor Certification Programs, weekly class and Instructor Training Plans. Members of the Warrior PST receive direct one-on-one coaching during the implementation of their program. Warrior PST members have direct Internet access to the developers of Warrior PST.
The Instructor learning curve is about 5 to 6 hours of DVD review, crime facts and scenario reviews and 1 to 2 hours direct coaching from the Warrior PST developers and other organizations and facilities that are using the Warrior PST. Members are encouraged to participate in monthly Expert Personal Safety Training Counselor training workshops via webinar or conference calls. The lead time to hosting your first Personal Safety Seminar will be about 3 to 4 weeks to allow Instructor preparation time, flyer and promotion development and, potential print media advertising. Initial implementation is built around a three seminar series and the Introduction of the 15-minute add on Warrior PST curriculum.
The 15 minute curriculum is a weekly Personal Safety training plan, including drills, safety message of the week and scenario training that can be added to any youth or adult continuing education program “public and private school systems, martial arts school systems, community safety organizations, boys and girls clubs and associations, churches and recreations centers, employer safety programs for employees, dance and gymnastic programs.
