         Osu Mr. L,

I want to take the time to “Thank You” for the great job you did on the Child Safety and Abduction program you prepared. About 2 years ago you visited Sensei Dennis and myself at PBG for our Grand Opening where you did your Child Safety and Abduction Seminar, My son Nicholas who was 3 1/2 at the time participated in your seminar. While today I was on my way into the Dojo with Nicholas, and he asked me when you where going to visit the Dojo again and do that call. I asked he what class and he told me the class that keeps him safe from bad guys like you did last time. I knew the call he was talking about but I didn’t think he would remember it so I asked him what he did in that class and he told me that they ran from you because you where a bad guy and you where in their “safe zone,” and they ran to Sensei Dennis because he was the policeman or a safe place. He also told me about “Going Crazy,” where if anyone get them that it’s Okay to kick, punch, yell, scream and do what ever it takes to get free.  Nicholas in now 6 years old and he is a Lil’ Champions White/Blue Belt and I’m very proud of everything he has achieved in the Martial Arts and he has yet to scratch the surface of what the Martial Arts has to offer him, but nothing will ever make me prouder then that moment know that he knows how to stay safe and avoid strangers. As a Professional Martial Artist this program is a great service for the students and families in the communities we serve, as a father this is a priceless program that is more beneficial then any thing I could have ever talked to him about.
So please keep up that great job your doing and Thank You!!!

I am writing this note in hopes that you will help me get the message out to all parents on the importance of teaching their children about “Abduction Danger.” As you know my eleven year old daughter was approached by a man in a car this past Thursday and asked if she wanted a ride. I was unloading my car and had briefly stepped into the house carrying packages.
In the few seconds I was in the house this man pulled down the street, pulled up to my curb and was less than a foot away from my daughter. Thank God she was aware, and stepped immediately to the side of the car that put the passenger seat between them. She presented the personal fence, told the man to stay away and ran for the safety of the house. I want EVERYONE to know that it only takes a few seconds for their child to be gone. I NEVER saw him or the car and only heard him pull away fast when she came screaming for me.

I want to thank you again and I will always be grateful for what you did for my daughter. When I brought my Girl Scout Troop in for your seminar I never thought in a million years that one of my girls would ever need to use the skills you presented, especially MY daughter. When you shared the statistics on how many children are kidnapped (or worse) each year I was glad that we were able to make the girls aware. Thank you.

Dear folks,                                                                                                                       KEMPO-KARATE

Recently, I was requested to put to paper my thoughts on Anthony Arango’s and Lawton Llewellyn’s “Warrior Personal Safety Training Systems.”  That was easy to do; because I always enjoy writing about winners and Anthony Arango along with Lawton Llewellyn are two of my favorites.  Then I realized that I had already completed such a letter back on October 24, 2007 to Chairman Cokinos and President John Cokinos, who are the Chairman and President of Educational Funding Company.  Thus, here are my thoughts on this subject back then and now.

Dear Chairman Cokinos and President John Cokinos,

Just a note to let you know that we (The Universal Team here is Colorado) think bringing Anthony Arango on to the Advisory Board was one of the smartest things you folks have ever done.
I met Anthony at one of the MAUI Warrior’s Weekends about 9 to 12 months back and he was my training partner on the mat.  He is a skilled martial artist with a gentle spirit and caring heart.  He has been a joy to get to know and I consider him a true friend that can be counted on at a moment’s notice.

He has been working with myself and our team on the “Child Safety And Awareness Program.”  We have been working this program for a couple of months now and kicked it off here in Colorado a couple of weeks back with our first “Child Abduction Prevention Seminar.”  It was met with rave reviews.  Anthony “Baby stepped” us through the process every step of the way.

As a result of his efforts we are making ever a larger impact on our community.  We have been recognized as Leaders in this community for years.  Now with Anthony’s blend of the Child Safety and Awareness Program into our system, it does nothing but add even more value to what we are already proving to the community that we live in.

Above all else, we realize that Anthony is providing such a tremendous service, not only to the martial arts schools but more importantly to each town, city and state that embraces the program.  It is the right thing to do and we are very appreciative to Mr. Arango for blazing the trail for us.  It is a perfect “hand in glove” situation with what we are already doing.

I admire and respect Anthony Arango and what he has brought to the party.  You can tell he has done the homework for all of us and is dedicated to helping us understand and implement this program in our area.  He is a perfect living example of your saying:

“The mature mind gives without remembering and receives without forgetting.”

I just wanted you to know, we appreciate the wisdom and giving spirit of Anthony Arango.

When you see such a fine character in a man, it is natural to try to “peel away the layers” or “drill down” to find the magic of his success.  We are quick to realize that a large part of his success lies within the foundation of his family.  We appreciate Eileen (his wife) keeping him in line….smile.  When we watch with an eye for detail and ask better questions, we can tell that Eileen is the “magic behind the mountain.”

I know Anthony is where he is today because of the “quite strength” and “unwavering faith” of Eileen.  Their children are blessed to have them two as parents.

I would say “Anthony is a keeper”….smile.

Kind regards,
Garland

Now with Anthony combining his efforts with Lawton Llewellyn there is no stopping this duo as they continue to evolve and develop the “Warrior Personal Safety Training Systems.”  I am excited and eager to endorse this fantastic program.  Any Professional Martial Arts School Owner that is serious in making a positive impact in their community must seriously consider investing in the aforementioned program.  The information you will learn in this program (as my kids would say) will rock your world.  Buy it.  You will thank me later.
